Matching High Tech with High-Quality Craftsmanship

Castleton, VT, March 7, 2018 – EpiCenter, a leading authorized partner of Epicor Software, announced today its successful collaboration with Hubbardton Forge, a Vermont-based company that creates handmade, made-to-order premium lighting fixtures.

One of the country’s oldest and largest commercial forges operating today, Hubbardton Forge holds fast to its ideals of respecting tradition and high-quality craftsmanship. Even artisans, however, must take advantage of new technology to produce and ship products around the world, so Hubbardton upgraded its legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to Epicor 10. To help the implementation go smoothly, Hubbardton brought in EpiCenter.

“Hubbardton Forge offers highly configurable products that are made-to-order, presenting a unique challenge,” said EpiCenter President Jeffrey Glaze. “Every day, hundreds of jobs are created and the challenge is keeping supply up to meet ever-changing demand. To make sure all variables were covered from the get-go, we brought in a team of professionals with diverse skillsets, so that as issues arose during implementation, we could meet any challenge.”

Hubbardton Forge’s lead consultant Jonathan Soyt was grateful to have EpiCenter on the project, saying, “EpiCenter has a wide breadth of employees. They demonstrated knowledge and creativity in overcoming problems that others couldn’t solve.”
