Houston, TX, November 6, 2017 – EpiCenter, a leading authorized partner of Epicor Software, announced today the hire of Epicor consultant Mark Olson. In his new role, Olson will support EpiCenter clients in looking at their procedures and strategizing best ways for optimizing the software and equipment to support them.

Olson comes to EpiCenter with a strong background in technology, manufacturing, and distribution, especially of repetitive products. In prior positions with manufacturers, it was his responsibility to customize Epicor for the efficient building of many parts over a long period of time.

“I’m excited to add to our team another talented individual adept at demonstrating what Epicor can really do,” says EpiCenter President Jeffrey Glaze. “Olson is skilled at comprehending the challenges of a business and finessing the software to bring about desired results. Sometimes a slight change to procedure can enhance what the software has to offer, and he’s talented in communicating those aspects too.”

Earlier in his career, Olson worked for a manufacturer of clutches and drive train components for the off-road industry. He also spent years in the gas and oil industry, where it was his job to dial in the distribution function in Epicor, as well as purchasing, order entry, inventory, shipping, and invoicing.

“I’ve been very impressed with the way EpiCenter has set up their consultants for success,” says Olson. “It’s nice to be part of a team that is able to reach out and access help from other employees when needed. When one consultant is on site, you actually have the brain trust of many other experts too.”
